We have some fresh news from a close source of the founder of Pepco, Mr Saul Pinchuck. I've contacted one of his son who is still in the music industry.

We've now gotten to cruise speed ! The mails are regularly coming in and more and more photos are on the way. The gallery is now a nice collection. Pepco products seems to have spread all over the country in Canada and even across the border in the US quite often. Still would like to find or draw some schematic of the most popular model (201-207-209).

I'd
love to receive some mails and photos from you Pepco
users or/and owners. It's a legacy from an historic and
technological point of view. The tube amp industry have
been really active, here in Canada in the 60's and 70's.
I wish this could serve as a collective memory sharing
therapy project !

I tried an old tube amp in
a flee market and fell in love with it !! It was a
Riviera 725
head with a 1x15'' cabinet. The sound was breaking up at
2 on the volume and the 15 inches was screaming !! A
sudden blues revival ! I finally didn't buy it cause my
basement was quite full at the moment !
But I was intrigue by that amp and decided to Google
everything I could find about it.....not that much....but
significantly enough to made me buy a
Paul amp
a month later !! Build by Pepco, here in the
heart of Montreal, Canada, that little 'entry level' amp
is now leading me into the world of DIY modding and tube
amp surgical topics.
I created this site to share and collect any info about
the Pepco 'legacy': model, date, schematics,
photos, soundclips, story, etc....
